Being Olympic Champion wasn‘t enough for Tanja Frieden! The gold medal winner in snowboard cross at Turin in 2006 wanted more! Even during her career as an active athlete, she took an intensive interest in mental training methods and participated in various training courses on this subject. She was able to directly employ her new knowledge successfully in competitive sport. Tanja Frieden is regarded as a mentally strong competitor, who always finds her way back to the optimum run in spite of setbacks.
Since retiring from top-class sport in 2010, she has completed her training as a neuro-coach and participated in logo synthesis and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) training programs. She applies her experience as an independent entrepreneur and former professional sportswoman as a visiting tutor in CAS company management at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern (FHNW) in Switzerland. She works as a neuro- and environment coach for athletes and corporate managers, advising them individually or within the scope of a group mandate. In doing so, she succeeds in transferring her own zest and enthusiasm to her clients, dealing individually with their requirements and finding the ideal solutions for them.
Tanja Frieden was born in Thun in 1976 and has spent her whole life in that city. As an ardent sportswoman and lover of nature, she has very strong ties with the region and is regarded as a local ambassador for the Bernese Alps.
